Kale Salad

Yummy yum yum!

      This delicious and nutritious side dish is the perfect pairing to any main dish. :]

Ingredients:
  •  One bushel of organic kale
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • Organic EVOO (eyeballed amount)
  • Real Salt
  • Healthy or homemade dressing of choice
  • Any desired toppings (like nuts or fruit)
Directions:

      In a large bowl, combine kale (washed and separated, EVOO, lemon juice, and a dash of salt. "Massage" the kale for about two minutes. using your fingers to rub the oil, salt and lemon into the leaves. They will begin to soften and wilt (for lack of a better term) becoming more palatable.



   We added walnuts and Braggs "Braggberry Organic Dressing"
